Review content:
First the good points: A l'amour has a large selection of wedding dresses in a variety of styles. The lighting is excellent and the dressing rooms are spacious. They also have one of the nicest selections of accessories that I've seen. That said, I will not return to their store because of their terrible customer service. My salesperson left me in the dressing room standing around in my underwear for long periods of time while she chatted with other brides and salespeople. I felt very rushed to find ""the dress."" Towards the end of my appointment, she began a hard sell that would put a car salesman to shame. She would work on me for a while with guilt trips - telling me that I could really save my parents money by ordering today. Then while I was dressing, she would go out and work on my parents - telling them that it would be hard to get me the perfect dress if they waited much longer (my wedding is almost a year away). Despite me telling her that this was an important decision and I wanted to think about it, the salesperson got more and more aggressive and started talking to me like I was an indecisive teenager (I'm a 30 year old professional). At one point the salesperson had the nerve to point out that it seemed like I wasn't having much fun. I was very offended at how I was treated and how lightly they took this decision. I would never recommend them.
Pros: selection
Cons: service
