Three weeks ago we bought two guinea pigs in the Petland Discount in Yorktown. I spent nearly $300 on the animals, cage, water bottle, food, dish, house, etc. I asked two different sales people, several times if there was any chance one was pregnant. I was told no - they are two females who have been together in the cage for a while. I said several times, I really, really don't want a pregnant guinea pig or any chance of a pregnant guinea pig. Well, yesterday one of them had 3 babies and this morning the other had 4! I now have SEVEN BABY GUINEA PIGS! Clearly, the staff here doesn't know much about the animals they keep and sell.
