I orinally called Planet Beach to find out the prices of a single tan. The girl told me that I had to make an appoitment just to talk to someone...so I did and went in later that day. The facility is VERY nice...one of the nicer ones in the area. The girl who helped me was very friendly and had me fill out paper work and informed me of the beds they had. When i was done..she plugged me into the computer. She was very pushy trying to get me to buy a package. I told her I just wanted to try out the beds and do one single tan. I was charged $10 (even though on the phone someone said first time customers get a complimentary tan) But i just paid. She says to me, ""For your skin tone im going to put you in for 7 minutes"". First of all im half Mexican and tan very easy...its a 15 min bed...i think i should be the one who decides how long I should go since Im paying for it. Then I went on to wait another 10 minutes while her and a manager discussed another customer who complained about wanting to go the full 15 and the sales girl kept saying no your going for six. Finally (after standing there akwardly) I said something..and she told me to go ahead. Luckily I've tanned before because nobody showed me how to work the bed. The Bed was pretty powerful though for being only 7minutes...i could already tell I got color! (of course I had to wait till I got in the car to see since there were no mirrors)
