Review content:
Here is my review: In a few words, the food is good and the prices are reasonable. However; I must unequivocally say that the service was next to worthless. To make a long story short; my sister had selected this restaurant to celebrate my wife?s and I eleventh year wedding anniversary. We made a reservation for 6 in the PM for a group consisting of six individuals. We were running a little behind and my sister contacted the establishment to inform the restaurant about this. We arrived at 6:08 and sat down at our table at 6:10. Our waiter, which we shall affectionately refer to as the ?Clown Wannabe?, AKA Greg, greeted us with a ?warm? you are late welcome. That was the first time this was brought to our attention. He comes back to get our drink order and this individual has the audacity to tell us that, and I quote: ? It is imperative that you be here on time when you make a reservation because we have this table reserved for another paty at 8:00 PM?. OK at this point my ears are turning red with anger. Never mind that it is my Wife?s and I eleventh year wedding anniversary. We wanted something special, but instead we received a lecturing from a waiter that pretends to be funny, but he is not, pretends to be friendly, but he his certainly not. The idiot waiter kept referring to us as ?young people?. At what point in a business does the customer become nothing more but a child? I am 36, my wife is 32 and our guests that were accompanying us were in their 40?s. I have been in restaurants with a 5 star rating and have never been treated this way. It was very condescending just to put it delicately. We were also charged for two ?corking fees? but our waiter did not touch our Champagne bottles even once. We had to open and serve our own bottles of Champagne. This place must think that it is the S***S, but truthfully, The Olive Garden has better food. Needles to say, so much for a good first impression. This is the place that you definitely do not want to patronize, unless of course you, the paying customer, enjoys to be lectured by the wait staff.
Pros: Good food at reasonable prices
Cons: Lecturing the customer!
