My girlfriend and I went to these apartments when we first moved out and inquired about a 2 bedroom. The 2 bedroom was unavailable but they assured us that if we put down a deposit we would get it the next month. I got a better job in Fresno after being there for one month. Since neither of us had renter history they required a double deposit and since we had mentioned that there might be a dog that would occasionally stay with us a pet deposit as well...$3000 when we went to move out I helped her clean this apartment top to bottom so we could get the deposit back. They kept the deposit for the other apartment claiming that it was for taking it off the market. Next we asked for the deposit for the apartment we were in. They so far have said they are still cleaning it and said we may owe more!
We were there for 1 month and they need more than $1400 for the cleaning from the deposit!?
Reporting them to my congressmen and to the better business bureau. My advice would be to stay away.
