Review content:
Food Lion is not cheap by any means. When i first arrived in Winston-Salem i shopped at this store. I found many of there items were overpriced. So i asked for one of there MVP customer cards. This reduced my bill dramatically. I have since located a Wal-Mart nearby. Wal-Mart's prices are cheaper. Another store i will be shopping at is Lowe's. Food Lion has dented products on the shelf. One of the ham hocks i brought was an actual pig's hoof. I was appalled. They could have at least had the decency to cut this part off. Now i know what ham hocks are made out of. But come on. I went into today to purchase toilet paper. The prices were crazy. One 12 pack of toilet paper was $9.00. They have why not switch signs all over the place. Referring to buying Food Lion brand's. Another place to shop for food is Target. I shopped in Target in California. Some cities in California had Super Targets. Very good prices and alot of discounts all over the store. I also suggest visiting the Dollar Tree and Family Dollar. In these economic times we all are looking for a bargain.
Pros: Convenient
Cons: Prices are too high
