Review content:
As i started learning more about Krav Maga, I wanted to find a good school in my area that had good instructors, and effective seminar. I compiled a list of different schools in the area, and narrowed it down to 4 schools. I decided to go with Pure Performance, and am very glad i did. The instructors are very helpful and knowledgeable during the classes, and are even willing to help out students with pointers and minors outside of class. One of the main features that this gym has, which caught my eye, which just about no other gym in the east coast has, is a Krav Maga Alliance Black belt instructor, Otis Berry. With him as your instructor, you are guaranteed to learn tons of new techniques with each session. After focusing on Krav Maga my first couple of months, I decided to try out some of the other martial arts, including Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu and boxing. (they have alot of variety in their classes). All of the classes are informative, challenging, fun, and also very rewarding. You feel a great sense of accomplishment after each class. The gym is very clean, the students all respect each other, and are always willing to help each other out, it has a great atmosphere, and I highly recommend this gym.
