My brother and sister and I found this place after mom was put in a skilled nursing home to recover from her fall. Mom said she never wanted to go in a nursing home, but she can't take care of herself any more and we all have jobs and families of our own. Well, mom just loves this place, and one of the caregivers seems to have adopted her so much that sometimes I'm almost jealous. I'm just glad they told us about this place at the nursing home, because it really is one of the best small assisted living places I know of. We looked at some and they just seemed so dark (and some smelled). Mom has been here for over a year now, and I thought they might raise the rent but so far they haven't. If you're looking for a wonderful senior board and care home in San Jose, California then this is the best place I know of!
