Review content:
I came to this salon looking for a great and relaxing experience and left in absolute agony. I asked for a full highlight and brow tint. I waited for a very long time while processing as my stylist did another hair style on another client. During this experience my head started to burn as well as my eyebrows and I expressed this to my stylist. Once the color came off my hair was literally white on top and only had random highlights on the bottom, making my hair look two-toned. I expressed my discontent to the stylist again, but she had other clients to attend to. After I left my head began stinging uncontrollably and I went in for an emergency visit with my physician. I was diagnosed with chemical burns to the scalp and face (where the eyebrow tint was). I had to incur the cost of this doctor's visit, the prescription for pain, and an overpriced experience at the salon. Once I got home I called the salon and told the person who answered the phone what happened. I was put on hold for at least 10 minutes before Bonnie, the Salon Coordinator got on the phone. She told me that I had to either come back to the salon or PROVIDE A DOCTOR'S NOTE in order to receive a refund! I explained to her profusely about my having to work full-time and could not come back in during the times they provided me. Also, I had to get this problem fixed immediately because I have a professional position and could not look the way I did. I also had contact with Tony, the owner, who told me the same as Bonnie, no refund would be issued. The customer service was appalling, if you could even call this customer service. I would like to stress to everyone what a horrible and painful experience this was for me. Not to mention I was out over 120 dollars for the salon experience alone. If you want to go to a salon that touts upscale treatment, please be sure they stand behind their service before letting them put anything on you. Please do not go to this poor excuse for a salon.
Pros: Nice area of town, good parking
Cons: depolorable customer service, poor color, chemical burns
