Most awkward and terrible dining experience due to our waitress at Masa Sushi 646 . When she brought out our appetizers, she stood and stared at us and the table waiting for us to clear it off when there was already plenty of room. It literally took her 5 minutes to put the food on the table. Then we moved on to order our entrees. My friends decided to split a hibachi meal and get two salads on the side. In deciding which salad dressing to get, she asked about 14 different questions which ultimately led to a crazy amount of confusion that was totally unnecessary. Eventually our food came out, and I took a bite of a piece of sushi. Unfortunately, I ended up choking on a piece of jalapeno and because she hadn't been to our table in over 15 minutes, I had no water to drink and had to drink off my friends drink and eat their rice...and a piece of beef. None of it worked. Basically, she never really interacted with us. She only loomed and lingered, without being helpful or delightful. In fact, she made our entire experience so awkward and uncomfortable. Once it came time to pay for our meals, she dropped off the check and didn't return for quite a while. She decided to try and make conversation after she brought back my receipt, but by then it was too late. I normally don't find it necessary to complain, but it was terribly, terribly awkward. To top it all off, this girl had a hickey on her neck.
