Inis Cairde School of Irish Dance

Review content:
This school is a wonderful experience for its students, no matter what their ages. The head of the school is dedicated to her dancers, from ""pre-Irish"" through adults. She teaches not just the steps, but a love of the Irish culture in general. Students also learn the discipline required to succeed in their dancing, be it solo or team. Friendships made here are made for life.
The amount of time in class includes a very full warm-up - usually about 20 minutes - since Irish dance is a vigorous sport. This is considered a regular part of class time.
There are some expenses involved with Irish dance, but the teachers and the Parents Assn work hard to keep costs under control. No one is getting rich off the school dresses!
The class fees are reasonable and are pro-rated for the months that are shorter. I know that ""Mia Smith"" claims otherwise, but I think perhaps her math was off.
In short, Inis Cairde is an excellent school for Irish dance, run by knowledgeable and caring people. I can't imagine any child not loving it.
