Review content:
This was a nightmare from beginning to end. I had my floors refinished. This company did not remove the ""shoe"" (trim between floor and wall) and it was ruined with stain. The finish itself had brush lines, bubbles, and brush ""hairs"" caught in it. I called to voice my dissatisfaction. When I didn't hear back, I called again and was told that the owner had been there and he thought the floor looked fine. Translation = lady, you are crazy. I called in another professional to fix the job. He advised me on what I should expect and recommended that I go back to SVB and ask them to do it --though he would be happy to do the job. SVB did replace and repaint/stain my trim. But they never did get the floor right -- there are areas where there was a lot of bubbling and despite repeated trips, they never did fix it. I finally gave up, figuring a little wear would solve the problem. I did check reviews before hiring them and wonder if the same company did the work! Maybe SVB is successful in having the negative ones removed. Let's see how long my review lasts.
