I ""hired"" this company to move our belongs out of our home and store in their facility until we found a new house to purchase. They were suppose to arrive on a Wednesday, 2 days before our home closing date. I called them on Monday to confirm, since it had been a few weeks since I scheduled their services. They confirmed our time and said they would call again on Tuesday to go over the details. We were busy packing up our 3 bedroom home on Tuesday, when we realized it was 6pm and Father and Son had not called yet to discuss our moving details. So, I called them and that is when they informed me they were having ""complications"" and would have to re-schedule our move for 4 days later. I pleaded on the phone-after expressing much anger and frustration that we could not accept a moving date in 4 days, we were closing on our house in 2 days and couldn't simply move a date written in a contract . The company representative only told me he was sorry and there was nothing he could do except move us in 4 days following. He offered no suggestions on other companies that could help us out, just sorry, there's nothing we can do. We were furious! I still do not understand how a moving company, who should be prepared to deal with sensitive time schedules, can notify anyone that evening before they are scheduled to to move a family that they will not be showing up. UNACCEPTABLE! Obviously, I will never trust this company again, nor will I let any of my friends, family or co-workers use them! By some miracle, my husband and I were able, at 6:30pm they night before our move, find a storage unit, rental truck and 3 helpers from another moving company. We were able to move ourselves by our closing date, no thanks to Father & Son Moving! Stay away from this Company!!!
