Totally disrespectful landlord. She will not return phone calls. Emails back inconsistently. Was often antagonizing and rude in emails and always passive aggressive.
Will nickle and dime you for everything. Made me pay for a months rent AND electric bill that I didn't even live there for, and would leave all the lights on after showing the apartment. Made me pay to have a lock installed in the front door. Chipped away at my security deposit.
Once accused me of not paying rent, and not only tried to intimidate me into writing another check ""immediately"" but with late fees. Well, after checking with my bank, SHE HAD ALREADY DEPOSITED THE SUPPOSEDLY LOST RENT CHECK A WEEK PRIOR!!
Inconsiderate. When showing the apartment she would not always give me 24 hours notice, but always expected me to be out of the apartment. She would email at night notifying me of a showing she scheduled for the next morning or afternoon.
Left a 4 inch wide hole in my front door (right above the knob) in the middle of winter for over three weeks. The apartment's inefficient electric heat cost me an extra $70 that month. When it rained and in the winter, water would bubble up in large pockets on the walls behind the paint and then seep out all over the floor. I told her about the problem twice; it was never addressed. Then charged me to have the carpets professionally steamed cleaned.
Rarely plowed snow. When snow did get plowed, it blocked my car in the gravel lot and blocked my front door.
Stay away. It may seem like a good deal, but it is not. It is not worth what you will have to go through living there.

Cons: crazy lady, overpriced, not maintained.
