Review content:
Mike Davis worked on my digital piano taking 2 1/2 months to fix it when the previous service person fixed it in our home in a matter of minutes. Was going to fix stuck keys and go over keyboard to replace any other keys that looked like they may be on the way out hense the need to take the entire keyboard to his shop. When we got it back, the keys started sticking again once we played it. He said he guaranteed his work so I called him. Took another 1 1/2 months to get him back. He said the keys weren't the same ones he fixed and that I also had some ""broken keys"" that needed fixing but he wouldn't nickel and dime me! He tried to show me where the plastic key had broken in the back but I didn't see any loose pieces so he took the key out and showed me how the sides were different saying the one side was broken. I was suspicious since it wasn't jagged and kept questioning him. He said the keys were plastic and brittle and with that he broke off the opposite side of the one he said was broken and said ""see how brittle."" He left with my keyboard but I immediately got online and found out that the key was designed asymmetrically and wasn't broken until HE broke it. I called Yamaha and even confirmed the design with a part's person. I called a different piano store which called Yamaha and they are replacing my keyboard for free! The salesperson said any reputable dealer would have known to check on this. Yamaha frequently does this because they stand behind their products!
