I have used Karco Specialties for more than 20 years. They have done everything on my cars. All the repairs usually turn out okay. I had one experience where they recommended I take it to a dealership, because the transmission was under warranty. The dealership said that the transmission was tampered with and that my warranty was invalid.
I took it back to Karco and they helped me with it. They sent the transmission to a certified third party, and helped me gather all my paperwork together, including the service report. We sent it to Honda America and they ended up giving me all the money back to cover the repairs I paid Karco to do.
The big thing about the service is trust. Even if they charge about the same as most people, when they tell you something is wrong it is really wrong. If they tell you something is okay, then it is really okay. It might be possible to get bargains other places, but you can't get that kind of trust. I will never take my car back to that dealer again.
