I have traded in this store for 18 hears. I have bought lighters, a few humidors , tobacco, pipes etc and enjoyed a smoking cigars in the store.
Last week was a disappointment for me. I was looking for help with obtaining the green sponge insert for the Elie Bleu humidor system. I was told that I had to buy the humidor system that Elie Bleu has in their boxes, that the company does not sell the filters. I had bought the filters a few years ago in the Georgetown Tobacco store (DC). I was upset that the manager (said he was there for 13 years) did not offer to attempt to find the filters for me. I then went to another tobacco store on 51 street & Lex ( Barclay-Rex) and the store stocked them.
I felt that as a customer that I was treated unfairly . I was told that the company does not sell them separately . I had previously bought the filters in DC and now I found them in one of your competitors .
My complaint is that the manager should have taken the time call the company and order the sponges. I was very disappointed and hope that your owners will see this complaint.
