I was a bride and I got married in South Lake Tahoe a few days ago. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the hair part in my hair & make up appointment due to insufficient funds at my disposal. I just decided to do the make up instead of the hair and I was charged a 50% cancellation fee, because I did not cancel a month in advance. Did I mention I still showed up that day to do my make-up? So I ended up paying $100 just for make-up, which honestly, I could have saved a $100 and done it myself if I knew this would happen a month ahead. So, I may as well have kept the hair appt. and payed the extra $25! Nice make up, but wasn't worth the $100 spent. If you are on a strict budget like me, I'd recommend another place with a smaller percent of cancellation fee's and requires a 48 hour cancellation notice. Not 30 days.
Pros: Good make up. Friendly.
Cons: Fees. Unreliable staff. Cancellation has to be within 30 days.
