Review content:
I've been coming to John and Dan for five years, now. On my first visit to the shop, my newly purchased ten-year-old Miata needed new brakes. John replaced the brake pads, turned the rotors, and told me everything he was doing and why. After taking the car home, I noticed an occasional squeal. It only happened in one place on one road, but it definitely happened. I took it back to John and described the problem. We couldn't reproduce it, so he couldn't hear it, but I insisted there was a problem in that left front wheel somewhere. John put the car back up on the lift, took apart the brake assembly, and found a part that was worn to a shine that shouldn't have been. That's what was making that noise.
