I've always had reservations about buying a dog at a pet store. We have been into the Pet Station a number of times to buy fish, crickets, food, etc. We thought they considered us good customers. The other night we went in there and found a maltese puppy that we really wanted. I asked the owner about the dog, then told him we wanted to buy him. He was about to close and we had cash in hand, but he assured us that if we wanted to wait a day and think about it, the puppy would be there Wednesday morning when we returned. I asked if he could put it on hold for me, and he said no, but that I didn't have anything to worry about. We went back Wed. at 11:30am, and he had already sold the dog. Not right at all. He has lost all of our business. It's also been rumored that all of his dogs come from puppy mills, so there is a lot of inbreeding. Don't buy anything from this man.
