This shop has an F rating with the BBB and I have learned 1st hand why that is. My vehicle was held for repairs for 14 days. Then, when we finally got the call to pick it up, we were asked to pay more than originally quoted. The worst part is that the transmission was still slipping and our steering wheel/alignment was completely off. After 4 weeks of canceled appointments (sick mechanic, holidays, too busy, owner out of shop), we had to take our vehicle to another shop to fix the problem. The new shop had to completely rebuild the transmission due to Arrow placing faulty parts, neglecting to place parts needed and failing to flush the old trans fluid that was full of sludge. We have requested a refund from Arrow and despite being asked by the Better Business Bureau and Angie's list, they have refused to do so. We are out $2700 to Arrow, plus another $2800 to the new shop that repaired it CORRECTLY. Do not go to Arrow Transmission in Glen Ellyn! There are bad reviews about this place everywhere online. Check with the BBB, they have 5 unresolved complaints in just the last 12 months. Pitiful!!!!!
