Review content:
If you are looking for customer service do not go to the Bike shop! We have purchased three bikes from the Bike Shop (two for my teenage son and one for myself) we are totally discouraged by the service we have received. The owner is happy to answer questions for an adults to make a sale but is very rude and unhelpful to teenagers if they try to purchase parts or bring in bikes for service. Recently my son brought his bike in for a tune-up that we were told was included with the lifetime warranty. He dropped off his bike and specifically told them not to do any work that was not covered. They took it upon themselves to replace worn parts, including the tire and a part that my son told them was worn but he would replace later and demanded $60.00 before we could take the bike home. Most businesses would at least have made a phone call to get authorization before making repairs. We have had repeated complaints from friends who have their children treated rudely at the bike shop but the attitude is completely different when parents are present. We have tried to support this local business but in the future we will bring all of our bicycle needs to World of Wheels. Pros: Attentive and helpful to adults, carry quality brands Cons: Poor customer service after the sale. Rude to teenage children who need help with bike parts.
