Review content:
We bought a beautiful mahogany door last summer from The Door Store. Unfortunately they do not do either the install or even the finish on the door. The use subs. Both were inadequate. The ""finished"" door had visible hand prints and in only a couple of months the ""finish"" had faded several shades. We are now paying to have it resanded and refinished. The install was also problematic. The installers did not speak English and literally slapped the door into place. In a couple of weeks the door would not open and they came out and quickly shaved some off the side, but now there is a permanent gap between the jamb and the door. The Door Store did not care about what happened after we paid for the door. I will never do business with them again.
Pros: the doors themselves are beautiful
Cons: they do not do their own install or finish on doors
