Last night, my husband and I went through the drive thru for a midnight snack on the way home from a wedding. We gave the employee a $20 bill for $4 worth of food, and the employee claimed we only gave him a $5 bill. After being told to pull up and wait for the drawer to be balanced, the manager said that there was no discrepancy and would not help us. Another employee screamed at us to leave, insulted us and pointed his finger in my husband's face and was VERY inappropriate. We took the General Manager's number and said we'd be back at 7 a.m. to speak to the salaried manager, who was also very rude. She refused to review the security tapes while we were there and refused to let us see any of it. We went home out of blind rage to wait for a call once she'd reviewed the tapes. She called my husband an hour later to say that there was nothing outstanding on the tapes and she could not see the bill given to the employee and we would not get our money back. When I told her I'd come back with an officer to see the tape, she told me she'd call another manager with more authority to see what she could do (she'd previously offered coupons...yeah right) and call me back. An hour later she said that the manager told her just to give us the money. Needless to say, the employees are extremely rude and do not have to face any punishment for their inappropriate actions. I suggest staying away unless you like verbal assaults and theft of your hard earned money.
