[I wish I could have given them ZERO stars but I'm forced to give one]
I recently went to Louetta Automotive on Barker Cypress to get a safety/emissions inspection on my car. I should have known something was weird when not 1 guy, not 2 guys, but 3 guys climbed under my hood during the safety portion of the inspection. I asked the ""manager"" what was wrong since 3 people climbed under the hood of my car during inspection & I was told nothing. Then 3 minutes later after the ""manager"" and the inspector had a pretty heated exchange of words, I was told my car failed inspection because of the main belt on my car.
I was pretty sick at the time (I had been visibly coughing badly in the office) so I just said okay show me what you're talking about and I'll come back.
After I got home and took some medicine, I later decided to check the Texas DPS website to see if I can really be failed due to the main belt on my engine (has nothing to do with emissions, which I passed). Much to my surprise, that item that I was failed on WAS NOWHERE ON THE WEBSITE- this came straight from the source that created the guidelines for the safety and emissions inspection.
Now I have to go back to the place and force them to pass my inspection that should have been passed in the first place. I hate to have to raise my voice but I think it will be quite necessary when I go back to the office bright and early.
I hope the same inspector is there in the morning when I go back because Pedro and I will have it out.
Cons: Trying to take advantage of people
