Review content:
My computer recently got a virus and as a small business owner, I needed it working again quickly. I, mistakenly, took it to Best Buy where they charged me $80 just to look at it and say ""yep, it has a virus"" and then told me it would be $129 to fix it and an additional $99 to backup my data. That didn't even include installing my office programs or anything else. They wanted another $40 just to install Microsoft Office!
Needless to say, I was pretty upset that a virus was going to cost me that much. On my way home, I saw the large banner for ""Free Diagnostics"" at MIT Computers and figured I could at least have them give me a quote. I brought it in and they told me there was definitely a virus but they wanted to test all my hardware to make sure I didn't have any other problems, and this was all free! They told me the free diagnostic would take 4-5 days but I opted to use their ""24 hour service"" which was only $40 compared to Best Buy's $80 regular service fee.
Just a few hours later, Mike, the company's manager, gave me a call and said he could reinstall my Windows XP, backup my data, physically clean the computer (it was pretty rough looking as I tend to use my computer a lot), and install my office program for $200 and it would be ready the next day! WOW!
I waited 1 week for Best Buy to tell me it would be almost $300 in addition to the $80 I already paid and MIT was not only able to diagnose it in under a day, but get it fixed for $100 less! This is a great company and I will be sure to recommend them to everyone. Their employees are polite, well informed, and have degrees in the industry. For the service and the price, I can't think of a better place to get your computer repaired. Thanks again guys!
Pros: Complete repair at a cheaper price!
