Recently I had Brent Garvey come out to estimate a job I needed done for my home and found myself dissatisfied with the level by which this painting company was doing their work. I had brought up a few different things that were going to be necessary and he just shook his head ""yeah yeah yeah"" and told my not to worry. Low and behold, he never even took into consideration what I had initially told him I wanted and it never got done. When I had brought it up, he acted like he had done it when I knew he had not because he was never there -- and I know he did not tell his crew (who did not speak english very well)... I got curious and looked online and found a lot of bad reviews where my fears were addressed by a lot of other people in the community who had similar problems with Brent Garvey Painting as well. My recommendation is that people actually take the time to seek out a professional painting service that is going to consider the needs of the clients and strive to do the job well. If I would have known this was the situation I would have opted to go with an earlier company I had contacted that had a slightly higher price tag. When it comes down to it -- it's important to ensure that I am going to get what I needed done RIGHT the first time rather than save a few dollars and find myself completely dissatisfied. I hope other will take the time to investigate this a little bit as well when selecting the right person to do the job -- after all, money is tight and if I want to get something done I want to make sure that it is going to be done RIGHT the first time.
