I have been going to RUIZ since 1989 when my wife first took me there. She grew up about a mile away from the Florissant location and 17 years ago she promised that it would be the best Mexican food I would ever have. She had been going there since the early 70's. We just got back from a week-long vacation in Riviera Maya, Mexico and I still stand behind RUIZ as being the BEST Mexican food I have ever had. We love their Chimichanga's and their guacamole-RUIZ! Best Salsa! Best Environment! Best service! Our favorite servers are Rocio and Juan. We also love it when they have the traditional Mexican musicians strolling the restaurant. Thank you RUIZ! Pros: Best all-around Mexican food on the planet
Cons: They recently closed down their St. Peters Location :-(
