Review content:
I called my tv manufacturer for some warranty serivce work on my HD CRT RP TV and they recommended Blackie's as they were the closest. My service call was for blurry edges and the left third of the set had a dark slightly yellow cast to it. The tech arrived at my house and looked at the set checked the convergence and ran the magic focus and said everything was within factory specs and not to worry about the yellow tin as you could only see it on a black and white image, but in actuality it affects all the color on that side of the screen. I wasted my lunch hour and then some being at my house while he did nothing that I couldn't have done myself. I also asked him if he knew of any ISF techs int he area that could calibrate my display and he gave me a blank stare. The same thing happened when i asked him if he knew anyone who could adjust the overscan on my set. After a few months lurking the AVSforum thread on my display made me more knowledgeable than a factory authorized servicer for my set. Do not expect anything from Blackie's avoid at all costs. There are other repair facilities in the area, use them.
Cons: unknowledgeable, lazy
