I have been a great fan of Needlework Unlimited all my life having been a knitter and having lived a couple blocks from the store in Linden Hills. I moved to St. Louis Park and recently stumbled upon this little shop. The owner speaks her mind and knows her stuff and some obviously may find that difficult. I found her honesty rather refreshing. Last week I came in to buy yarn and brought a project I was having trouble with. A lovely older woman who worked in the shop sat me down and with great kindness helped me learn to sew an underarm seam. I took a class a few weeks ago and the young woman who taught the class was amazing! On evening I was the only one who showed up for class and she stayed late to help me get my sweater finished so I could mail it off to my granddaughter. She taught me so much! I decided to sign up for another class with her next week. The prices are good and the selection of buttons is the best in town. This shop is unique and original. I really like it!
