I have been going to Sunny Nails for a couple years now mainly for pedicures and have had such an inconsistent experience each time I go depending on which nail technician I get. I have had really amazing experiences where I am served white wine and receive a pedicure where I get a 10 min massage of my feet & calves and become so relaxed I fall asleep in the chair. I usually get the spa pedicure where they dip your feet in hot wax which makes them extra soft.
I went yesterday evening hoping for that kind of experience. Instead I actually had a painful, extremely unpleasant experience. I walked in & asked for a spa pedicure & a manicure which I repeated twice. Instead I received the most rushed, painful pedicure I have ever gotten. The technician I had was so rough especially when she was trimming my cuticles. She made me bleed on my big toe & a little on my index finger. The massage part of the pedicure was pretty much non-existent. There was no offer of a beverage of any kind. The whole time she seamed extremely annoyed and disinterested- like she hates her job.
In the past I have had some other not so stellar experiences but yesterday was definitely the worst and even though the location is extremely convenient for me I will probably not go back!
This place could be so great if everyone who worked there could be consistent in giving the patrons the really wonderful, pleasant experience that I know some of the technicians there are capable of doing.
