Review content:
After giving up on pFino the market, we reluctantly decided to try to Tavern hoping above hope to have a cool local spot to frequent.
The initial reaction upon entering was not positive. Chlorine smell in the air, mish mash decor and seating all kind of squashed into the space.
Our next disappointment was the wine list, or should I say wine(s) selection. They only had two choices in RED a Merlot and a Cab. We ordered one of each only to find out that the Merlot was almost gone so we got a partial glass with a promise to remove it from the bill if ""they couldn't find anymore"".
For food we tried the Chicken Marsala and Fish and Chips following the suggestion of the waitress. Both dishes were ok, the fish was good but only had two pieces on the plate with a huge pile of fries.
If you are in the area keep driving and head to the Union or Woodshop in Clarkston.
