Review content:
I'm going to cut to the chase here and start off by saying if you love burgers, American food for the soul and COLD beer then heaven IS on earth. Sugar land to be exact, Pete & Shorty's amazed me with a welcome home atmosphere combined with great food for the about the price you would pay at your local fast food chain. I had the Black-N-Bleu burger and their; oh so amazing sweet potato fries and believe me it wasn't easy narrowing down my order. Their menu is packed with mouth watering eats and I want to try it ALL!! Famous for their Jucy Lucy burger and 20oz ice cold Schooner or beer Pete & Shorty's have actually been around since 1934. A sister store to the famous Hooter's empire, Pete & Shorty's creates another spectrum of dining by offering a full bar and pub feel with live bands playing on certain nights with also the option to dine in a more family inviting part of the restaurant. Let?s just say every night is a perfect night to visit Pete & Shorty's. Also, before I sign off one other thing really impressed me about the atmosphere. While I was enjoying an ice cold schooner, I noticed the General Manager himself walking around not micromanaging but instead greeting guest at their tables and making kids laugh and smile. This is what hometown restaurants were like back then, what a place!!
