Review content:
I recently took two different pieces of furniture to the Furniture Professionals for repair. The first was a wingback chair with the fabric covering coming apart at a seam where one of the arms came together with the wing on that side. Dan did a great job repairing the chair and beat the estimate I was given by a significant amount. Because they did a great job on my wing chair, I asked if they could do anything for my leather couch and chair. They are Thomasville and I though pretty good furniture, but after about three years, the cushions had broken down to the point that we felt like we were sitting on the frame vs. on the cushion. This was disappointing since one of the reasons we bought this set was that we liked the firmness of the cushions. It just didn't stay. Dan said he could replace the cushions so he measured them, asked me how firm we wanted the foam and ordered it. Once the foam came in, Dan had the cushions repaired in a few hours. The difference is truly amazing! My two trips to the Furniture Professionals saved me several thousand dollars in new furniture! I will agree with the other review that I read on this site that the workshop is a bit messy; but it is a workshop, not an office. He treated my furniture well as it was in great condition when I picked it up. Dan does a great job and I highly recommend his services.
