I just recently rented an apartment, the fridge was broke so we called the apartment and they told us the company that they purchased the fridge from was *CODE RED APPLIANCE* and that it was still under warranty. The guy came out, didn't do anything, told me he had to have someone certified to handle freon or something come out. He came out the next day got it working, then told me I had a leak and that he would need to come back the next day to put in a u.v. dye to find it, and then he would solder the leak. He never came back. My fridge ran out of freon a month later and I lost $60 worth of food. When I called back the receptionist, who seemed nice at first, told me that they do not reimburse they're customers for food spoils caused by half-a**ed repair work. She then told me to contact may tag for the reimbursement. (my refrigerator is a whirlpool by the way), but she did say that she would send someone out. I asked her to contact the manufacturer and get the refund from them and give it to me, she said no. I let her know that I was going to contact the better business bureau, and let them know how this company conducts themselves as well as leaving a poor review on this site. She then told me that I would not receive any more service on my warrantied refrigerator and hung up on me. If you want service that is not complete and a company who does not back up their work than by all means this company is for you. If you enjoy being treated like a human being then for the love of God GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!
I have to give them one star because the website doesn't have a ""0star"" option.
save yourself the time and money. there is nothing worse than not having a working refrigerator.
