Review content:
Jennifer and Dave are true metal work ARTISTS! I first hired Cobalt Designworks a little over a year ago to design ornamental custom railings for my split level mid-century modern entryway. They were able to take inspiration from the print in my roller shades and incorporate it in the railings with a leafy pattern. The railings are black and they have three ornamental nickel panels with these stamped out leaves. I just want to put a chair in my entryway and sit in there to admire my railings. So, when I thought about re-doing my fireplace, I contacted Cobalt Designworks and they worked with my contractor to come up with the most amazing masterpiece of a fireplace. The mantel is steel metal work that they applied a patina to and they also trimmed out the hearth with the same steel. Jennifer totally got my rustic modern style and put all the elements together to create this piece of art that is now the focal point of my living room. Seriously, this fireplace is going to end up in a magazine someday; it?s that cool. I can?t wait to commission and art project from Cobalt Designworks. They truly are a treasure here in Portland, OR.
