This spring (2010) my son booked a double decker bus for a trip into the city after a prom...the bus was loaded with lights, 'state of the art sound systems' on both floors, bathrooms, air conditioning, the works! They took a $1000 cash deposit, and then $3,800.00 cash for the balance- which included a large tip..HERE'S WHAT YOU GET FOR $4,800.00 FROM DESIGNER LIMO: -THE BUS BROKE DOWN AT LEAST 9 TIMES ON THE PARKWAYS from LI into NYC -NO REPLACEMENT BUS WAS EVER SENT, -THE MUSIC DID NOT WORK ON THE TOP FLOOR, -THEY ARE TRYING TO CHARGE US $500.00 to clean the bus-- THERE WAS NOTHING BROKEN ON THE BUS! When we went to their office to speak with them about charging us when there were UNACCEPTABLE problems with the bus all night and that they had no right to charge US, we were told that THE OWNER HAD TO SPEAK WITH US. WELL, THE OWNER NEVER CALLED BACK, AND HAS NOT CALLED EVERY TIME WE'VE CALLED TO SPEAK TO HIM. HOW CAN ANYONE RUN A BUSINESS THIS WAY? THEY TOOK $4800.00 CASH AND THEN BOOKED OUT AN UNSAFE BUS WITH 18 YEAR OLDS IN IT, ALONG WITH THE EXTRAS THAT DID NOT WORK! I AM FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, AND I URGE EVERYONE WITH SIMILAR EXPERIENCES TO DO THE SAME. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS! THIS IS NOT OVER!
