Review content:
I took my car to the Pleasant Hill CA Pep Boys for a replacement engine and I picked up the car last night after work (5/11) and found ""several new & long"" scratches on my driver side front and rear doors from the engine installation. Driving home the engine oil light came on and stayed on. This morning (5/12) when I drove to work it was gone but at lunch when I came out and started the car that's when the real fun started. The check engine light came on and started ""dinging & dinging"" over and over constantly and will not go silent. The motor is now surging at idle and the water temp indicator works sporadically now as well and the electric cooling fan won't stop running. The best part is that when I stopped the car to get out and look under the hood and under the front end of the vehicle I noticed that they ""crushed"" the engine oil cooler unit that should always be ""removed"" when removing and installing the engine. I also noticed that they had left a bungee cord hanging inside the engine bay and it had fallen down and ""wrapped"" around the right front wheel and I was glad to know that that it was the bungee cord dragging and bouncing around and not my front suspension coming apart on the freeway. I am supposed to bring my Neon back in to Pep boys tomorrow and I am very afraid that they do not know what they are doing and really afraid of what they will do to my car this time. Pros: Nothing Good About them At All Cons: Will Destroy Your Car !
