Review content:
Woman (saleswoman) was EXTREMELY RUDE to us today around 4:30pm. We had a very pleasant saleswoman with dark hair. When we were at the checkout my husband made out the check while she rang up another customer. Next in line to pay for our items (which were on the counter) when a couple came in and wanted a ceiling light fixture. The woman waiting on us was told, by the rude salewoman, to get their light down instead of ring us up, like we were invisible or insegnificants. My husband already had the check made out (from when our sales lady was waiting on us) and our items had been on the counter before this couple even came in. He asked who to make the check to and was answered by this very rude woman, he had to "" wait his turn"". He then informed the rude woman we were there waiting at the counter when the couple walked past us into the store. The woman then got VERY rude when my husband informed her he DID AND WAS waiting his turn and she ignored the fact the other lady was waiting on us only to have her stop and get the light down.(instead of doing it herself!). I told the rude saleswoman I watched her go in and out o the little back room many times (that is how long we were standing there). He said ""we don't have to buy these things"" and she promptly said, ""and we don't have to sell them...get out of the store!"" She then turned to the other lady who was waiting on us and told her to ""hit the panic button for police"". I was appauled to be treated like a criminal in this store!! My husband said, ""you owe me an apology"". She then chased us out of the store. My husband went over to the couple who bought the lamp (in their car now) and said he was not upset with them at all...but that the lady was rude and in the wrong. The man admitted we were there first but said she acted as though we could wait. He said they had been in the store to buy the light earlier in the week and she was rude to them also over asking for the 20 percent discount they were quoted by the vendor so they came back when it was cleared up. As my husband was talking to the man the rude salewoman came out and said to me ""don't talk to them"". Again saying she would call the police on us. That we were on ""private property"". In reality we were on public property with intent to purchase multipul items! The shop had many items we liked and we were going to purchase. We had even decided to return and buy a shelf and piece of expensive furniture with our van, however, I will never return or buy from this shop! Not only did vendors miss sales because of this rude behavior and manner to us she had no idea I am a scout shopper for a lottery winner in another state who would have (on my recommendations) shopped at the antique mall and made multipule high end purchases. Perhaps the owner should consider asking for an attitude ""adjustment"" when it comes to this saleswoman (I believe I heard her called ""anne""). You have no idea how much you have to lose!
