I almost hate to write a good review...I want to keep this place all to myself! My husband and I have traveled far and wide and, without a doubt, this is in the TOP 5 of places we have stayed. Darla is a wonderful innkeeper and a gracious hostess. We stayed in the Quail's Roost cottage behind the B&B and it was wonderful! The breakfasts were absolutely incredible - and Darla was kind enough to share all her recipes! She even packed a cooler with water bottles for us when we ventured out to nearby wineries. The wine and cheese gathering every evening was also excellent. If you didn't see a wine you liked, Darla was back in a flash with your preference. If you are touring wine country, forget the rest...stay at the best B&B in Calistoga. We will definitely be back to the Foothill House! Jayne & Steve
