I can now say that I had a disgusting meal in Texas. Old Gus did not appear to hold up on his reputation. He said that he had good food. The Brisket was good. But to get baked potatoes I had to pay 3.49 cents extra to get it as a side that was fine but when I received the Potatoes it was yesterdays right out of the icebox and not heated up as well as it should. I would have complained but our service was so bad that it was a pain to get the whole meal that we ordered plus Tea was empty most of the meal. You were able to get 2 sides with the BBQ I asked for the Baked Potato only well that is when I found out that I had to order 2 1.79 sides and had to pay for the 3.49 potato. I asked why they could not substitute and she said well that is just the way it is. Fine I ordered corn and beans. The beans were good the corn well it had to be reheated ice boxed and then reheated. I know left overs when I see them. Needless to say I ate the beans and Brisket and 1 rib they were not very good. So we muddled threw our supper and left 1 penny tip and it was on the card the service sucked and your boss?s rules suck too. 1.79 =3.58 the cost of the potato with a little extra. Gus you have some work to do fix the problem. I know that your food can be good I was recommended by a very reliable person. Sorry for the bad review.
