We love Thai food and try every Thai restaurant we come across. This restaurant is very expensive and poor service. It took a long time to get our food and there was only one other family in the restaurant. Then we got our appetizer of chicken wings with 'special' sauce. When I first bit into the chicken I immediately was repulsed. I thought that the chicken tasted fishy. I tried some more trying to adjust to the taste and figure out what the taste was and then remembered the smell of some rotten wings that i had gotten from the supermarket. It tasted just like that smelled. My husband took a bite and said it was rotten too and could not even try another bite. We brought it discretely to the waitors attention where she right away said that it was spices that we did not like. We did a little conversing with her conserning that we know what Thai spices taste like as we cook Thai and have eaten every Thai thing there is and this was no spice flavor. We had tried the sauce from the wings by itself and it was fine. She kept arguing and went back to the cook and he said that no one else had complained so we must be wrong. Good customer service is 'The customer is always right' She should have apologized and offered something in replacement or take it off our bill. We won't be back! Nut Pob on the south side is far better and alot cheaper and is one of the best Thai restaurants we have found. Pros: Cloth Napkins Cons: Expensive with Poor Customer Service
