Review content:
not recommended. too expensive, substandard work performed and the management is very not customer oriented....!!! A dear friend was given a $50 gift certificate to ""Katheryn's"" on her birthday. Mind you the birthday girl being a mother of 3 is normally not the type of person who pampers her self in a salon on a regular basis. In essence she is a first time and potentially repeat customer. On her birthday she showed up to work as she typically did to be met by friends and family as a surprised upon entering her small business. Among the presents she received was a $50 gift certificate to ""Katheryn's Nail & Skin Salon"". On that morning she was allowed to enjoy a day off to celebrate her birthday. First on her list was to visit ""Katheryn's Nail & Skin Salon"" to honor the gift certificate which she received for a pedicure/gel toe which she was very excited and happily anxious to receive. She left then returned quickly - only 20 minutes had lapsed before she returned very dissatisfied with the service received at Kathryn's. I have worked in a salon for almost 20 years but could not believe my eyes when I examined the quality of work(or lack thereof) that she received. The standard of work provided to a first time customer let a alone to a birthday client was shocking. Being very familiar with this industry I immediately contacted the owner of this establishment(Kathryn herself) at an attempt or chance to remedy the situation. Well let just say Kathryn is not very customer oriented. I was under the expectation Kathryn and I could have a professional discussion, however I received a tongue lashing by a professional sailor. I could not believe my ears!!!! In this economy every customer is an opportunity at a renewable resource so the best service possible SHOULD be provided, especially for a birthday client. It was very evident Kathryn did not understand the rudimentary principals of managing a customer centric business as a salon. I would steer friends and family away from this establishment if your expectation is to receive any value for your hard earn money.
