I made a reservation on Friday night for a Saturday night stay because another hotel I called in the area was full and mentioned this one had just had a room open up. I made the reservation and gave the person on the phone my credit card to reserve it. When we arrived the next night at 9:30, the only person in the ""office"" asked if I had a reservation. I said yes, I'd just made it the night before. He made a phone call, and then said basically, ""We got no rooms, can't help you."" When I pressed about the reservation I had just made (how do you forget such a thing at a small place?), he just repeated the statement and said I could call the main line if I wanted to.
