Our wedding is actually not until November but I felt the need to write this review now. We booked Lettuce back in 2011 when a chef named Christian was running there wedding events. Our tasting with him was PHENOMINAL! Then we found out 6 months ago (through a family friend NOT from the company itself) that he as well as our sales coordinator had been let go. We decided it was important to set up another tasting since the company had made such great changes. The new chef (who is also the owner of the company) seemed a little irritated but accomadated us, and was actually very kind at our second tasting. The second tasting was NOTHING...I repeat NOTHING, like our first. The most important being in the taste/quality of the food. Other then that they only prepared us 1/4 of what we tried on the menu the first tasting (he actually complained about what the original chef had spent on tastings which I thought was rude considering how much money I was about to give him for my wedding!). We also were assigned a new sales person, and the tasting was now in a hot muggy kitchen! (as opposed to the suite with a formal dining setting at our first tasting). Just a completely different expierience the second time around. We left so disappointed. The owner wound up pulling some weird stuff to pretending to be one of the old employees through email which was VERY odd as well. We wound up deciding to terminate our contract with them because of the tasting being so different, and because of the weird emails, and now they wont return our $1000 deposit.
