Review content:
I attempted to eat here once more after reading a few more ""positive"" reviews and was equally disappointed. Sadly those having visited NY once in there life and not being Indian consider ""Indian"" row true Indian food. Here is a brief lesson in Indian cuisine - ""Indian"" row is not Indian but Bengali and by no means the true ""Indian"" food experience in NY. For those who can look past the tourist traps and have an open mind the true Indian restaurants are easy to find and there a plenty of wonderful places if you are looking for true South Indian or North Indian cuisine. Taste of India continues to be a sad experience for those who are Indian, have been to India and UK and tasted some of the best Indian in the world. If you are looking for something more than greasy overcooked curries and overfried appetizers I would stay away from this place.
Pros: service
Cons: food
