Businiess name:  Joe's Crab Shack

Review content:
My wife and I visited the Schaumburg Joe's Crab Shack on Monday evening. There was no waiting and our waiter was minimally friendly. I say minimally because it was enough to get us seated and take our order. He wasn't rude at all, but minimally attentive. I ordered the Dungeness crab (1.25 lb) and my wife had the chicken sandwich. Her sandwich looked ok overall, but after eating one half, she couldn't eat anymore as it was very dry. My crab was pretty good, but it was definitely frozen. It tasted like it had been cooling for more than it should have before it was served. I admit some bias because I used to live pretty much on Puget Sound where Dungeness crab is readily available. The taste of the crab was decent, and filling. They served some sort of corn biscuits that were dry and somewhat greasy. Overall, this was below my expectations for a restaurant chain that came highly recommended by friends. I don't ""not"" recommend it, but I do suggest that people proceed with caution. Pros: If you like seafood, it's got a decent variety... Cons: It doesn't feel like the staff care about a good product...
