Last time I went to Jersey I tried to go to the Berlin Diner, but it appeared to be closed down. If that is the case, then it is a tradgedy. The Berlin diner was always a South Jersey treasure. Great food, great people, great prices, and it was even in a major movie. That's right, it was the diner that Ben Affleck and Liv Tyler ate at in Kevin Smith's 'Jersey Girl'. This has always been one of my favorite diners, and has been a Berlin landmark since well before I was born. The only drawback this place ever had is that they were not open 24 hours like all the other diners. If it is closed-down, I hope it opens back up. Perhaps I'll make an offer if it's for sale...
