Review content:
I've been at Forest Pointe going on three years, waiting for the appropriate time to purchase a house. I'm a model tenant: quiet, pays on time, no trouble. When my lease was up for renewal, I asked for improvements to my aged bathroom to make it presentable considering it is an expensive unit. They said they would but not until I signed the lease. I countered I would sign if they amended the lease to include my terms or perform the repairs beforehand. They soundly refused me any reasonable assurance, yet they amended the lease with their new terms that penalize me heavily if I'm EVER late on rent. I guess even their good tenants haven't earned their good will. Disappointing, considering I've been a tenant at approximately 20 other apartment complexes across the US and most will at least demonstrate some good will, especially for longtime residents.
Pros: ample parking, clean property, generally quiet
Cons: lease contract terms, dated fitness center, washer/dryer units
