I was involved in an automobile accident on March 1, 2012 after 5 PM in which my vehicle was deemed to be in a non-drivable condition. The Olive Branch Police Department called JB Towing & Collision to remove my car from the scene. Upon arrival at the scene, Russ (the tow truck driver) was very concerned about my well being and also was very compassionate. As I live in Southaven and just recently moved here, the only person that could pick me up was a friend driving from Memphis. Russ drove me back to the JB office where the vehicle was towed. He helped me to gather my things out of the vehicle and even supplied me with a bag to carry the items that I needed to take with me. I also met Melvin that night and we all had a long conversation about fishing while we waited for my ride to arrive. It took over an hour for my ride to get there to pick me up but they waited with me the whole time and weren?t even put-out with having to wait. Most companies would have just left me sitting outside by myself. The next day, we went back to the shop to look at my vehicle and to get some items out of the car that I had forgotten. We met two more members of the JB team and saw Russ again. When you enter the JB Premises and meet the team, you automatically feel ?safe?. All of the employees that I have met have been friendly and very polite. I have checked in a couple of times to make sure that everything is going as planned and to see if I need to do anything and they are always just as polite and friendly as they were before. Last Friday, I stopped by unannounced to see how everything is going and they talked with me as if they had known me forever and even took me back to look at my vehicle and explain what had been happening.
No one wants to become acquainted with a Towing/Body Shop because of they have a ?need for their services?. However, I can honestly say that I am glad that I can now call them my friends and refer them to anyone that may need their services. Today, we get to pick up our vehicle and although it will be after 7:30PM before I have someone that can go with me to pick the vehicle up, that is not a problem for the JB Team. Carl and his crew volunteered to stay late just so that we could pick our vehicle up tonight and no longer had to wait. I don?t know many people that care enough about someone to wait for them 3 hours after closing time, let alone another business. In my personal opinion, JB Towing and Collision as well as Carl, Melvin, Russ, and the rest of the team deserve better than an 5-star rating! I will continue to spread the word about their service, attitudes, and compassion.
